Dear SQUIDS/SQUIDS101 users,

What’s the deal with the ad blocker warning popup?

We, at SQUIDS, rely on ads and subscriptions to keep the app alive.

Right now, we don’t have ads because our app is still in its development stage.

We don’t like ads. Nobody does. But to maintain the app and keep all your communities (squads) alive, we need money to make that possible.

We’re currently working on premium features so that, hopefully, we won’t have to put ads in the app. Unfortunately, a lot of people are looking for free apps, and many people simply don’t have the means to spend money on an app. We understand that.

That’s why we’re going to keep working towards building our own ad system instead of relying entirely on Google for ads. We want to find a way to keep SQUIDS running without ruining the experience for everyone.

We hope you understand where we’re coming from, and we hope you continue to enjoy the app, even with the few distractions along the way.

Just know that this app will forever be ZA. 🇿🇦
